Public Voting Begins Today for $500 in A&O Student Prizes

Public voting begins today for $500 in student prizes for this year's Alpha Omega Prize student art contest at Indiana Interchurch Center following the 2:00 p.m. annual awards ceremony. Twenty-five  students from 11 schools from central Indiana are participating in this year's contest as part of the Spirit & Place Festival including three who will recieve $250 in juried awards today. The program also includes the induction of the 2014 national honorees for artist of year, museum of year, and clergy of year; as well as remarks by Rev. Clarence G. Newsome, PhD, president of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center who will speak on the theme "Faith to Freedom."
