MAINE---Russian icon maker, teacher and lecturer, Marina Forbes, will offer "The Art of Icon Painting" workshop at the St. George's Episcopal Church in York, ME. There will be four-hour sessions on four Fridays: January 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is a hands-on studio workshop for students interested in learning how to create traditional Russian icons, one of the world's oldest and most respected forms of religious art.
