CHINA---As a devout Buddhist and a painter, Zheng Zesheng’s art puts religious inspiration into oil. His Xing Jing exhibition opened at Today Gallery on January 5 with more than 20 original pieces created during the last four years. Zheng’s paintings inherit the spirit of Buddhist abstraction. On his canvas, a monk is surrounded with colorful butterflies while playing violin before a leafless tree and elephants fly in the starry sky. [link]
