INDIANA---The 19th annual Art & Soul series will commemorate Africa's influence on Indiana's arts and culture. Traditionally a Black History Month celebration of African-American creativity, this year's
Art & Soul pays specific tribute to the migration waves of the African diaspora. Sponsored by the Arts Council of Indianapolis, Art & Soul performances are scheduled Jan. 31 to March 1 at the Indianapolis Artsgarden, located above the intersection of Washington and Illinois streets. Events are free and open to the public. Stone is one of four featured artists, joined by poet Mathew Davis, musician Zakk Knight and filmmaker Kassim Norris. [
