TEXAS---Two prominent filmmakers will provide bookends for the 2015 Houston Jewish Film Festival, which gets underway Sunday. Early in the lineup, Nancy Spielberg — sister of three-time Oscar winner Steven Spielberg and a filmmaker in her own right — will attend the Wednesday screening of “Above and Beyond,” her film that tells the stories of nonagenarian men who formed the Israeli Air Force after fighting in World War II. On the closing night, Israeli director Dani Menkin will attend the screening of his comedy “Is That You?” [link]
