Indiana pastors to protest change in 'religious freedom' law

INDIANAPOLIS STAR

INDIANA---Religious leaders are spearheading a movement against changes to Indiana's religious objections law that some believed would allow discrimination against gays, lesbians and others. Gov. Mike Pence this month approved changes to the law that prohibited merchants and groups from using it as a legal defense for refusing to provide services or to discriminate based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Members of the Indiana Pastors Alliance plan to protest the change Monday at the Statehouse and deliver letters to Republican leaders expressing their concerns. [link]
