AUSTRALIA---The spirit of Ramadan is on display at the Islamic Museum of Australia in Thornbury. The International Ramadan Photography Competition (IRPC) exhibition will run until September 1. Organisers said the exhibition highlighted the beauty and complexity of Islam through photographs of Islamic art, architecture and spirituality. Islamic Museum of Australia art director Nur Shkembi said the exhibition was a great opportunity to explore Islamic culture during the holy month of Ramadan. “It’s a unique exhibition sharing the diversity of cultures throughout the Muslim world,” she said.
