ALPHA OMEGA ARTS

Did this week's mass shootings impact your Advent season? As the First Week of Advent served as a call for constraint, this Second Week reminds us that constraint is not enough. Advent is the season to prepare for Christ, but most of us are too busy worrying or celebrating. The Gospel Reading for this Second Sunday in Advent describes a multivariate reality beyond our control as John the Baptist still calls us to "prepare the way of the Lord." Only our repentance and obediance will prepare the way, and that is why Jessica Springman's artwork is our NEWS OF WEEK.
