Happy Three Kings Day! Today on January 6th, Christians mark the day when three wise men (The Magi) brought their now famous gifts to the baby Jesus. It is also known as Little Christmas and the Feast of the Epiphany. This day concludes the 12 Days of Christmas, and is the day when Christmas decorations are to be put away. In much of the Spanish-speaking world, it is also the day when gifts are exchanged in remembrance of the three original gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Many Christians, mark these final days with Twelth Night parties, and we are marking it with a return to posting the daily religious art news. Happy Three Kings Day!
