NEW YORK---Artis is pleased to present the New York launch of "Staring Back at the Sun: Video Art from Israel, 1970–2012," an internationally traveling exhibition and program featuring 35 video works by a selection of influential artists from Israel. The two-day symposium at the New Museum includes lectures and roundtables by leading scholars that will contextualize the video works within historical, theoretical, and sociopolitical developments both within Israel and internationally.
