Crafted especially to promote the 1987 charity fundraiser album “A Very Special Christmas,” this iconic image is a wonderful example of
Keith Haring’s warm, unique style. The ensuing suite of albums owes much of its success to Recordmecca’s Jeff Gold, an art director for the project; working with Haring’s office, Gold commissioned these prints, which were given to participants in the project and used in promotional giveaways.
