Did you know that Shirin Neshat is the only person to have won both a Golden Lion at the Venice Art Biennale (1999) and a Silver Lion at the Venice International Film Festival (2009)? Now, online viewers will have the opportunity to watch some of the US-Iranian artist's most important works in film—including the prizewinning videos Turbulent (1998) and Women Without Men (2009). The five-day-long program (20-24 June), organized by Goodman Gallery to coincide with Art Basel Online, will make the films available for only 24 hours through the gallery's website. [More]
