Students Create the Story of Life & Death with Giant Popsicles

INDIANA - Heather Teets, an art seminar teacher at Park Tudor School in Indianapolis challenged her students with how to describe the Body After Death for the Indiana Interchurch Center Gallery's (IIC) "Beyond Dead: A Youth Response" art exhibit sponsored by A&O Prize for Contemporary Religious Art. The student-creatives choose a "Popsicle." The room-sized installation was a huge success for those experiencing the art exhibition opening this past Sunday, and they also created a video documenting the process. "What is more youthful than a Popsicle" said one of the student-creators in the video. Heather Teets added "A big thank you to IIC for an opportunity for youth in the city to engage in the festival and exhibit their work! Our students enjoyed the opening reception." The students weren't the only ones who enjoyed the opening reception. It was a hit for everyone.
