Road trip to ArtPrize 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan

2014 ArtPrize Finalist Anila Quayyum Agha is one of eight judges who will award the $200,000 juried grand prize and the five $12,500 category awards.
GRAND RAPIDS---Each fall, art lovers gather for a road trip to Michigan to vote and enjoy some incredible contemporary religious art, like Anila Quayyum Agha's "Intersections" and also some really bad secular art too. The ratio of good to bad or religious to secular, however, is not the reason we go. We go because ArtPrize is fun, and every visitor's voice counts in selecting $400,000 in cash prize winners. Yesterday, we celebrated religious art with the road trip to Noah’s Ark Encounter in Kentucky (#AOAroadtrip), and the next one if ArtPrize 2018 in Grand Rapids on September 20-24, 2017.
