Thanks for voting! Do you remember that day? You should. It was all because of you that I biked all the way from Hyde Park to the Freedom Center; and you gave me an UGRR pendant to prove it (smile). Yes, I remember that day...lol. You did an awesome job in the UGRR Bike Ride...your pendant was well deserved.
As for me, I'm good. I just got back from taking my students to Washington, DC. They toured the White House. It was a lot of fun. Also, I planned the 45th Anniversary Celebration for the program. We honored Dr. Clinita Ford for writing the grant that later became Upward Bound as we know it today. The event went well, you would have been proud...you trained me well...lol

You look sooo good in those pics, and I am sure the Anniversary Celebration was spectacular. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to share with Greg. We returned from Atlanta early Sunday morning after a week in that unbearably hot sun. But, the place is wonderful. I really had no idea. We definitely want to go back but not in the summer. Next time it'll be in early Spring or late Fall.

I have to laugh at the idea of "real email". It was just the other day that I changed my message on FaceBook asking, "Doesn't anyone but me use email anymore?" This is such a world of blog RSS, FaceBook messaging and Texting! But yes, I'm thrilled to be in touch with real email too.
