Matthew 7:15-23 reminds me it is not enough to do good. We must do good in the name of the Father and expect no earthly reward.  If our good deeds aren't holy then He will not know us when we come to him!

Todays verse is about all sorts of prophets: "a spokesperson of some doctrine, cause, or movement" and not just the biblical sort. We should judge all "By their fruit." That is not to say we shun those without good fruit. Instead, we try to work with them to become what they say they already are.
