TENNESSEE - Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Loretto has mounted an exhibition that demonstrates how religious art takes on many forms and styles. “Seeing and Believing: Art Encounters Faith” opens Friday in the Margery Wolf-Kuhn Gallery. It will remain on view through Dec. 8.  “While we are displaying pieces that reflect the traditional European style, we also have the unusual.” She pointed out artist Enrique Chagoya’s lithograph “Elvis Meets the Virgin of Guadalupe” as a good example of nontraditional expression.
