Art Perspective: Mormon Artist, Michael Soelberg

MORMON PERSPECTIVES
By Michael Soelberg
UTAH---These two paintings are a tribute to womanhood and motherhood. I have great respect and reverence for my wife. She is a light in the life of my children, but especially in my own life. In the first painting on the left, the woman is the center and foundation with an eye single to the glory of God depicted by red arrows rotating eternally, which represent an infinite atonement. The second painting on the right is based upon unity. If you cannot tell, I feel lost without my wife. She is the purpose and reason for all that I do. I am thankful for God’s plan that teaches me that families can be together forever. By making and keeping covenants, Yvette will be by my side forever. [link]

This man's devotion to his wife and his G-D is touchingly told in his artwork.
