HOLLYWOOD---The wooing of religious moviegoers — a delicate operation, as the “Noahbacklash attests — has been ramping up lately, with major players like Ridley Scott and Ben Kingsley mining the Bible for box office gold. But if there’s such a thing as a safe bet in this genre, it’s “Heaven Is for Real,” a Christian sermon that even the most doctrinaire believer can applaud. Preachy and pretty, “Heaven” is a classy-looking product with a vanilla flavor and a pastel palette. [link]

I thought it was nice, and that Connor was wonderful and Greg Kinnear did an excelent job too. I believed they were father-son and that helped me, as a dad experience their journey together. I don't think the script was remarkable, but I am glad I went. It felt a bit like the TV show, "Touched by an Angel," (pretty and preachy) but I enjoyed it far more than "Noah" (which was better than "Son of God").
