Deadline. The Hollywood biopic will star none other than Leonardo DiCaprio. Legend has it that the star's pregnant mother was looking at a da Vinci painting when she first felt her baby kick, thus naming him after the Renaissance artist. DiCaprio, who is also a big league art collector and environmental activist, will produce the film with his company Appian Way. Isaacson, studied da Vinci's own meticulous notebooks to create the book's narrative. The book
will be published by Simon & Schuster in October. [
